Traffic Fines In Karnataka Likely To Slash Today

Karnataka Transport Minister & Deputy CM Laxman Savadi said on Saturday that the Karnataka government led by BJP has agreed to slash the traffic penalties under the new amendment motor vehicle act.

Mr. Savadi also informed that he has a copy of the revised traffic fines in Gujrat state.

Laxman Savadi also said that “We will look it on Monday morning & will take the final decision on the same day”.

The amendment to the motor vehicle act came into effect from 1st September 2019, midnight. Under this newly revised act, the traffic fines are increased by approximately 10x for driving errors.

Here is the new traffic penalties under motor amendment vehicle act, from 1st September 2019
