Rapido Starts Food Delivery Service – Rapido India’s largest bike taxi app is now into the food delivery service. This service is basically handled by swiggy and Rapido is just the delivery partner. In other words, if you order food on Swiggy app then it is possible that Rapido Captian will deliver the food at your doorstep.
Recently, our reporter meet a rapido Caption Mr. KS Murty and asked his opinion on the Rapido Food Delivery Service. Here is what he said
“After Rapido has started taking the Swiggy food orders, We (rapido captions) are very happy as our daily earnings have doubled. We get the delivery orders very frequently and enjoy doing it. Thanks, Rapido”.
When our reporter asked about the per delivery earnings, here’s what Murty said:-
“We get flat Rs 50 for 5KM for each order delivery within 5 KM distance. Whereas above 5KM we get Rs 10 per KM extra earnings. Also, Rapido has great incentive structures that is an additional benefit for us”.
With a reach in more than 40 cities and the recent series B funding of Rs 391 crores, Bengaluru-based bike taxi app Rapido, valuation has now hit Rs 1,005 crore mark. Now the Food Delivery Service by Rapido aims to achieve significant growth.
