The Indian telecom sector has seen an aggressive price war between the TESCOS like Jio, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and BSNL. After 3 years of jaw-dropping tariff prices, now Airtel, Vodafone, Idea have announced to increase the recharge plan prices for its prepaid user. After the announcement, Jio and BSNL have also announced that they will be increasing the prices as well.
The government-led telecom company BSNL has not yet announced the prices of new plans. Whereas the company has introduced two new plans for its customers. The plan costs Rs 999 and Rs 1999 respectively.

BSNL Rs 999 Plan Details
The BSNL Rs 999 plan comes with free 250 minutes of voice calls per day. The plan offers a validity of 220 days. This is a voice-only plan and it does not include any free data or free SMS with it.
BSNL Rs 1999 Plan Details
The new BSNL 1999 offers 250 minutes of voice calling benefits. Along with the free calls. The 1999 Rs BSNL plan also has 3GB data per day and free Caller Ring Back Tone facility. As an added benefit, the company is offering SonylIve 1 year subscription for free along with the recharge to each customer.
What we know about BSNL Tariff Hike
As we all know that the telecom giant Airtel, Vodafone, Idea have already announced the new plans and they have hiked the prices of the old plans as much as 40%. Reliance Jio is also set to release the new plans in the market on 6th December 2019. So it is expected that BSNL will also follow the same path and hike its plan prices by 40 to 45%. The company has not yet announced the new plans and tariff hike, But it is expected very soon.
