Varanasi School News: Schools in Varanasi to Remain Closed till 8 Jan 2020 Due To Severe Cold Wave (DM Order)
Schools and colleges in Varanasi will remain closed till 8th January 2020. The holiday has been declared at all schools across Varanasi on the District Magistrate (DM) Kaushal Raj Sharma order. In a statement, Varanasi DM said “schools will remain closed until 8 Jan 2020 on account of the cold wave in Northern part of India”.
As per the reports, all the government and private schools affiliated to all the educational boards have declared the holiday till Jan 8th 2020.
This is to be noted that the schools which are conducting pre-board exams will open only for the students who are appearing in the exams. The exams shall be conducted as per the schedule.
We have also seen similar orders for closing schools amidst severe cold wave in various parts of India including in Agra, Lucknow, Haryana, and Noida.
